Anzac day is coming up and we decided to make some Anzac biscuits.
We got the recipe and read about it, it was about women sending it to people in the war so they have enough energy during the war, the recipe was quite simple it was flour, oats, brown sugar, coconut, golden syrup, butter, water and baking soda. Once I finished mixing we shaped them out, it was a bit oily but it smelt great. Then we put them in the oven to bake for 15 minutes. After a while it smelt amazing and I knew it was ready because I could even smell it from my room. When it cooled down it was ready to eat and I had it with milk and it was delicious!
